IBEFA Young Economist Seminar Series (YESS) on financial economicsThe pandemic moved many seminar series to the virtual realm over the course of 2020. Virtual seminar series facilitate the global dissemination of insights, although primarily by well-established economists. Junior researchers have found it challenging to find an audience for their ideas. The YESS, launched by IBEFA, aims to fill this void. We seek to provide a venue for young researchers to present their work and obtain feedback from peers and senior scholars alike. We are principally focused on assistant professors, junior research economists at central banks and policy institutions, post-docs, and senior PhD students working on financial intermediation. YESS is being coordinated with the Villanova Webinars in Financial Intermediation (WiFI) and MoFiR Virtual Seminars on Banking. The seminars are scheduled on Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. If you are interested in presenting your work, please contact the organizers and include a completed paper.
